MEET THE TEAM
Engaged and eager to support each other and the residents at Oakdale Nursing Facility, the team is here and willing to guide, direct and answer any questions you may have.
We have a State licensed “Administrator” who oversees all departments and operations. The Administrator has an “open door” policy so feel free to speak with or schedule a meeting with the Administrator at any time. The Administrator is assisted by all other department heads.
The “Director of Nursing” is a licensed Registered Nurse who oversees the Nursing Department, including the Nurses and the CNAs
The “Nurses” monitor medical care and provide nursing services, along with Certified Nursing Assistants, or “CNAs” who assist with activities of daily living, such as grooming, bathing, eating, dressing, transferring and other personal care activities.
We have a “Social Services Director” who is available to work with you and/or your family at the time of admission and while you are here. With planning assistance needed such as transfer and discharge assistance along with patient education; the Social Services Director will strive to meet the resident needs by making necessary arrangements for the resident’s care after discharge.
We have an “Activities Director” who can help you plan and participate in activities. The Activities Director will help plan outings, daily and weekly activities and special events such as birthday parties, Christmas and Thanksgiving events.
The “Business Office Manager” handles financial matters for residents and for the facility. Feel free to set up a meeting with this person if you have any billing or other questions relating to financial matters, such as your billing statement, the resident trust fund, Medicaid, Medicare or insurance.
The “Admissions Coordinator” helps coordinate you or your loved one’s admission process. The Admissions Coordinator will work closely with your physician and/or hospital to obtain screening information to complete any pre-admission assessments needed. If we do not have someone in this position, this is handled by our Social Services Director or Clinical Liaison.
We have a “Maintenance Director” who strives to provide resident satisfaction and collaborates with the “Environmental Services Supervisor” frequently to organize and monitor procedures, inventories and supplies needed to maintain and promote the physical integrity of the facility.
We have a “Dietary Manager” that directs and coordinates food service for each resident. This department endeavors to place a focus on the creation and delivery of nutritional, tasteful and well-presented meals while ensuring the dining experience is coordinated and managed with hospitality.
